Devil in the White City

I fell in love with this book. It's all about architecture and landscape design with a back drop of a serial killer. I really just was amazed at what Chicago was able to create with the World's Fair. The photos and history behind the creation of the Fair makes you remember what a society can do in a positive way if they put their minds to it. And why is it that our generation is so sluggish compared to the generations before us.
